    I had to see for myself. So I took a little road trip today. After stopping at one Gander mtn 2 Feet Farms. I stopped at the Cabels in Owatonna. And there it is ONE UL #4 Rippin Rap.. The Only ONE ..So Now I am the proud owner of ONE UL #4 Rippin Rap. yay yay Some times It is E-ZZER to create a feeding Frenzy in the fishermen than it is in the fish. …rrr

    I picked up 3 at Gander Mtn yesterday..that’s all they had.

    …There is more to it than a Lure. I like the drive over there, I take a few back roads and check a few things in some of my OLD hunting and stomping grounds. Most of The hunting spots are gone now. Just wish a lot of you younger guys could have seen the habitat that I had the PLESURE to grow up in and hunt in. I sure was lucky to have grown up when I did.!! The late 50s all the 60s and 70s. From what we had back then to what is now. There is NOTHING LEFT.!!! Guess maybe I will stay on the main roads more… …rrr

    Was that the pearl grey one? I see there was only one left. They only got six in when I bought one, and that was the only color.

    Randy, congratulations on your find.
    I bought ONE a couple weeks ago. Maybe I should have picked up a few more. Mine has already put a few fish on the ice for me.

    I don’t get it…
    Why is this lure suddenly so desirable?
    Hasn’t it been around a while?
    Is it really that unique and there are no other similar raps?

    Even if it does work well… the only way the raps are the exclusive bait for the fish is if the fish are reading this forum.

    …1st for the why part. That’s simple IT WORKS.! …2nd I am not 100% sure about this so James or anyone the knows correct me if I am wrong. The larger sizes have been out for 2 or 3 years. But the new ul #4 rippin Rap just came out within the last year.??… …rrr

    The #4 is new this season.
    I was at Joe’s the other day and they had all the colors in stock at 30% off. Not sure if they do today.

    i was set on buying one of these after seeing the guys use it on the show. two ganders i had been to didnt have any #4s, but did have 5,6, and 7s. but at $6.50($6.95msrp), i changed my mind and picked up a 1 1/2inch(close in size to a #4 Rapala Rippin Rap) Live-forage Rippin’ Shad by northland fishing tackle(msrp $7.69) for $4.00 at gander mountain!!! waytogo

    the unfortunate part is i am resisting the hype on this lure cause it disturbs me a little and when i finally do buy one the fish will be tuned into it and it will no longer be the hot lure…

    Scheels in Fargo has a bunch but no UV colors.

    …I called 8 or 9 Scheels stores today only one store had any UV colors. And they only had one color and that was the Orange UV. Most of the stores had ZERO of any colors. frown …One good thing about it, I didn’t need any for a Month or more. So Maybe by then the feeding frenzy will have cooled off a bit and there will be more available.? …rrr

    In Fargo they had Helsinki shad, fire tiger, and maybe one other color. It’s worth a call.

    Scheels in Fargo got more colors including some UV colors.

    Picked one up and after 30 mins of using it caught this hog
