bow Does anyone have any experience with these? I have a Ranger 1880 Angler and would like to possibly incorporate one if possible for long tournament days on wing dams. Another question, having little knowledge on deep cycle battery charging, would it ruin the batteries quick being you aren’t draining them very far down before charging again?

The Solar panels would have to be bigger than your boat to have enough amps to charge batteries quickly. THose small panels are like battery tenders. tHey only produce 1 to 1.5 amps in full sun. It takes multiple days to to charge a single battery on on a trickle charger.
    Not worth the effort

Agree with MWAL. You would be better off buying bigger/better batteries.

I have a friend who has a pontoon at a lake cabin. He uses a couple of these to keep the batteries on the pontoon and lift topped off. If he uses the t-motor for any extended period, he still need to run a regular charger.

They basically replace power used on the radio, running lights and lift motor during the summer.

Thanks guys, I already have D31’s I used to run a 36V system on my 619 as well as my 620 but Momma wanted more of a family boat. Not a lot of storage for a 36V system plus the cranking battery on the 1880 Angler.
