I went to the fishing dock on Wehrspann last Saturday to test some new rods. While I was there, a couple of youngsters showed up with some serious rods and reels. The claimed to have caught an 18 lb. and a 22 lb. channel cat the day before using bluegills for bait. Again, I didn’t see the fish, but, judging from their gear, they believed what they were telling me.
