Old sot gun shells

    I have some old 16 gauge paper shot gun shells Are they safe to shoot? Are they a
    collect able

    I’ve never heard of any safety issues with old shotshell loads. Reliability might not be very good as moisture eventually gets to the powder through the hull.

    Full boxes in good condition have modest collectable value.

    I would keep them on a shelf as collectibles just to be safe.
    Not worth blowing up a barrel trying to use them to save a couple of bucks.
    Just my 2 cents
