Old School Question …. What is the difference between Lowrance X70 & X70A

Old School Question …. What is the difference between Lowrance X70 & X70A ??? Do the same cables work on both ?

And …. I am also looking to buy a … 8-53 Power Cable for a X70A …. THANKS

Just to be clear, I assume its a simple X-70A and not a X-70A3D (Very different)

X-70 and X-70A use same EAGLE PC-2 POWER CABLE 8-53. They also used the same transducer and Speed/temp sensor.

I’m not sure on menu differences, you would need to pull up old manuals and compare. X-70 was updated to X-70A with a faster processor and I think more pixel lines (not confident on that). However the X-70 was then re-launched with the GPS capability and became the LMS-350
I think I may have 4 or 5 of these units still in the garage. I’ll look later when I can
