Need an old mercury gone through. Kiekhaefer murcury hurricane super 10. I need to make sure the water is pumping before putting it on a small hydro plane.

What a beauty !! an old neighbor of mine built one of those hydroplanes back in the seventies and it had a 18 HP Johnson on it.
I got to spend a day terrorizing a local lake with it and it flat out screamed !

OMG, that is awesome. My best friend in high school had one of those with a 25 hp Merc on it–you had to wrap the rope around the flywheel to start it. It was awesome.

My dad’s first outboard was a 62 Kiekhaefer Mercury. Wonderful outboard, reliable as the day is long.
