I have a really old black fury and a new one in my tackle box. I usually have a back up of my favorite lures. I just can’t bring myself to use the new one because the old one is so productive.

Had it on today and lost a monster pike at shore. Will be going after it and try to get photo of it. I am an old school guy that actually likes eating fish I catch. Pike and trout are my favorites to eat.

They work good until the shaft gets totally destroyed. Also used them all scraped up with fur missing. #5 Black Flury Yellow Dot. They work for me in the summer.

I know what you mean. I have a tray in my tackle box I keep the magic baits. Lures I won’t use,Unless I ‘m on the skunk hole and the pressure is on. On a week long Canada trip one of my rapalas took on celebrity status, earning its way to the magic tray. I believe in the confidence lures and specific lures that have a certain wobble or vibration that just plain out fishes the same make and model.
