Anyone use a Okuma Ceymar C10? Pros and cons.

Had a reel go haywire on me this year so decided to replace it with a ceymar since they are inexpensive and I’ve heard good things on here. Really nice reel for the cash and drag is solid. I also think the size is spot on. Would definitely buy again fwiw.

Which retailers are stocking these? I have found them on Amazon but would like to check one out first hand.

Scheels and Joe’s are two that I know carry them.

Is there currently any “deals” on them? I know there was a deal a while back for around $29 per reel?

I don’t know of any deals but the going rate is $39 or so. If you can find a $10 off coupon for somewhere or even a 10-15% off deal it would be your best bet. I just ordered two of the C-10s along with two of the ABF-B 20 bait feeders from Okuma and they should be here next week just in time for my trip to Cascade Idaho!

If anyone finds a coupon or a deal that is a % off let us know. I got three of these on the last good price posted here. I’d take 3 more. They are nice reels. I paid like $67 for 3 shipped to my house. Thanks.

Thanks James! I now have a reason to head to the south side of La Crosse to Ace Hardware.

I’ve got four of these awesome reels and I love them. Smootherwise drags, nice long stem if your wearing gloves and a long eva knob that’s easy to find when you get caught off guard. Only small thing I wish was different was the drag adjustment a little more fine. If I get another rod medium to ultralight action I won’t hesitate to buy a fifth.
