Is there a difference between the Avenger and Ceymar reels by Okuma?
I’m looking at switching from Shimano because of the bait feeder option for my Ifish Pro’s and want the bait feeder option… any thoughts or advice are welcomed… I have only seen the Avenger reel Thanks..

The Avenger ABF has the bait feeder functionality. The Ceymar does not. If you’re looking for a reel with the bait feeder functionality you want the Avenger.

The Avenger ABF worked great for me this winter for this. Just clean out the factory grease and put in some new stuff. The factory grease gets a little stiff in the cold.

Thanks James, great show by the way…
Also Its good to know there is a difference
In Regards to swapping out the grease, would hot sauce be a good alternative?

I personally haven’t swapped out grease on the avengers but hot sauce has a good reputation and strong following.

The ABF20 is the smallest baitfeeder I’ve found and is the size I would recommend.

Seconded. I have both ABF20 and ABF30 models and much prefer the 20 size.

That was a good laker show, I gotta hit skonny, maybe next year…
I ended up getting the 20 and think I will leave the factory grease in to see how it performs… I plan to put it on a 40 inch JT Blackout rod I have had for a couple years… probably use a low stretch braid but still researching…
Thanks for all the advice and tips..
