We just got back from Okoboji, fishing was great dispite all the events that where taking place this weekend. The bite was really tough in Millers Bay and a lot of small perch were being caught in Anglers. We caught a lot of Big Gills 9-10 inch and a few Perch over 11, in Emerson and on Poch Point. The Walleyes were biting about 30 minutes before sunset until about 6:30 6:45 and then went slow until about Midnight and then they started again. They were on gravel, boulders, and also running the weed lines.
This week I believe we will focus on Pleasant Creek. Does anyone have any suggestions for walleyes? I have fished there in the summer and had some really good luck with them but have never fished it in the winter.
