New years Gills

    Started early today with dreams of eyes on the ends of our lines. After we decided that was a wash we scouted around a little and decided on 1 of last years honey holes. It payed off well with the 2 of us keeping 45 gills and letting many more swim for a future date. Of course in spirit of shack rivalry we weighed them to decide big fish winner. I lost by an ounce. Gills ranged from 7oz to 12oz, not a bad way to start the new year.

    We’ll save a few for you Layne. The bite seems to have picked up and being somewhat consistant. Hope it stays that way.
