It was a great Sat. to be out on the water. I was joined by some of my good buddies.

Caught several smallies on leeches off Pikes Point. Had a surpise when bringing up a 15″ smally….roughly a 30″ Muskie tried nambing on to him. Headed to Echo Bay for some hot Blue Gill action, fish were off weedline in 18-25 foot. Slip bobbered leach or crawler 2-4ft off of bottom worked well. Also, jigged jiggers, tipped with leech or crawler 2-4ft off bottom.

Water temp was around 73 degrees. Wind out of the NE 10-15.

    Was a great day!

Moe,way to go dude!!! West O. is a great gill lake.Sure is fun to get into those big bulls in deep water.Try to get up and fish them when the hard water comes, alot harder than open water fishing.
