I am heading to Cresent Beach Resort for Labor Day weekend for a family reunion. Any suggestions where to start fishing for gills & perch close to where we are staying? Don’t need any secret spots just general areas & depths of water to target so the kids & I can catch some fish. We caught some pretty nice gills last year just a couple hundred yards out in front of the resort but would like to find new areas. Also is it worth fishing for smallies or walleyes on West Okoboji this time of year? Any input is appreciated. Thanks guys.
