Wow! What a run! Going to miss you guys but hopefully we will still see you all around or in some other fashion!
I know some other shows have transitioned to other platforms that aren’t so expensive as the cable route. Not sure that’s what’s happening here but wish all of you guys the best of luck and a huge THANK YOU for all the hard work and long hours you put in to give us some entertainment!
I didn’t see that coming.
I’m feigning optimism that the new opportunity will be as good for all of us viewers as it is for James and the crew.
Hoping for another big announcement soon, but not holding my breath.
Going in another direction. I hope it’s not like the direction Babe Winkelman took. After he ran out of fishing ideas, he moved on to hunting shows. I don’t want to see IDO showing us how to shoot geese.
Maybe instead of rushing for production deadlines, traveling 1000’s of miles, walking out on thin ice or in a blizzard he has decided to be a regular guy again.
One thing I know about James, he will land on his feet and do just fine.
Congrats Mr. Holst, stop in once in a while and let us know what you are up to.
Think he will live in the Kliest family guest house & do some propane delivery up there.
Kidding aside good luck, hope to see you back in front of a camera soon.
I still think there has to be more to this story. James usually does 26 episodes a year and they are only on 13. Something does not make sense.
At the start of this season I announced we were cutting our season short to 13 weeks… and now you know why. This has been in the works for a long time.
James Holst, I go back to the Fish The River times. It’s been a long run. You are soooo lucky to go through life with a great wife. I wish you nothing but the best.
Now what will I watch every Sunday morning a 8:AM?
I’ve never fished with PJ, but I have with Konnar. You are right, a couple of great guys.
