Oil and bait

I’m in a north suburb of the cities wondering where I can get mercury 2 stroke and of lesser importance, bait. Is the only option a large jug online as the boat stores are closed? I used to go to Joes Sporting goods for bait but they are closed.

Hope to get the dock/lift in soon.

Bait options are likely gas stations. Oil I would look to Fleet Farm or maybe Cabela’s (haven’t heard if they are open or not)

Thorne Bros appears to be open. Nothing on their website, Facebook or there voicemail to indicate they are closed. Not sure if they have oil but there is a Walmart up the road.

Sportsman’s Warehouse also appears to be open.

Fleet Farm should be able to set you up. Please don’t buy up all of the AMSOIL Synthetic though waytogo

First throw that Quicksilver crap out, Lucas land and sea, gander carries it. Otherwise online has quick delivery. Low low smoke, cleans your engine to a point you can turn down your idle rpms and starts ornery 2s in the coldest of weather right away.

Jrs still open? Hardware store in Champlin off 169 always had bait too

Vados in Spring Lake Park is open for curbside pickup of bait. Maybe a good idea for that, as there seems to be question on “essential” businesses staying open allowing customers to enter the store.

Cabella’s and Sportsman Warehouse still open for walk-ins?

Yes they do and it’s the exact same formula as Merc.

The Lucas is great 2-stroke oil. I either run that or merc. I’ve seen very little difference between the two when it comes to smoke. My cylinders were squeaky clean when I looked inside and had little to no oil residue on plugs this winter when doing a tune up. This is on a 25 Suzuki so maybe it’s a little different injection rate than your engine Beads.

Fish Lake Bait-they are ahead of their time because for years they have had minnow tanks outside with an honor box for payment-nice too if you like to go crazy early in the morning.

I got some amsoil at a parts store. I run it in everything else, might as well try the boat.

Rapid Marine will have your oil, just bought some Optimax oil there last week. As others have said Vados is an awesome bait shop and will be open for pick up only. Also Lehmans in Anoka has his minnow shed open.
