I have a flight next Saturday out of O’Hare in Chicago and am wondering if I should secure an off airport parking space or just use the public Economy lot. I believe they have a lot G at $10/day which is about what I can get off airport. Just wondering if the public lots fill up? If I were to get stuck leaving a vehicle in the lots closest to the airport the rate jumps to between $40 and $75/day. I need parking for a week.
Anybody have experience with parking around O’Hare?

Some motels let you park there while on your trip. Stay the night before and shuttle to the airport. I’ve done that in Mpls but assume Chicago might be the same?
I’d use the economy lot E, which has the monorail to the terminals. Saturday morning you’ll be fine, most of the usage is business travelers Monday-Friday.

Just make sure to do the research of the hotels security. Thief’s know the vehicles are easy targets and love to steel rims. I have seen multiple vehicles on blocks missing all fours.
