Sharon M, I do believe there is a double standard in the work place. If a female isn’t pleasant and happy everyday they are hard to work with, unapproachable, or worse. But, if a man is the same he is just a man, what do you expect? I don’t agree. My wife works for a large manufacturing facility doing HR and payroll. If one of the floor supervisors or workers come into her office and ask for something and she doesn’t respond with a smile and “I’ll get right on that.” She is deemed a 6itch and her boss tells her she needs to improve her attitude. Hang in there we’re all pullin for ya.
