I can see more launches closing. Especially on popular destination lakes Mille Lacs, Leech, etc. to minimize the draw to travel. I just hope they don’t close EVERY launch in the state, so we can at least still fish the bodies of water within our areas.

If you and many others wouldn’t have traveled to green bay, maybe accesses wouldn’t be closing down? But now you hope someone doesn’t do the same to you?

A buddy was there today and he said he couldn’t believe how many Minnesota and Illinois plates were in the lot. What part of don’t travel don’t people understand? Thanks for traveling to Wisconsin and shutting down our back yard.

Like this? Finger pointing or reporting facts.

There’s always a few bad apples that ruin it for everyone. I live 10 minutes from the ramp and have fished everyday the last wk. all the locals point the finger at the out of state guys. But nobody mentions all the local boats with 4-5 people in em. I think everyone seen this coming. Too bad

I suppose it depends on who you ask bigpike? ^^^

I heard a little rumor today at the Post Office… It seems that they powers that be here in WI may ask or mandate 2 anglers per boat during the fishing opener and perhaps beyond… I don’t know… I have fished Saxon Harbor on Lake Superior twice and find it the perfect space as its not too busy. Ashland closed the town for smelting this year, although I’m not sure if that includes 2nd landing east of town. WI opened a catch and release bass season this year starting April 1st. I was hoping before that happened to maybe chase a bronzeback up there before the opener as long as I have dipping the boat in the AIS waters. And with this weeks weather, I am hoping that spreads the folks around even more!!!

Like you hope they wouldn’t shut down Green Bay for “out of towners”?

I guess as long as it’s acceptable in your situation that makes it ok.
