The media has played everyone this whole past week. The Navy heard the implosion on Sunday and the pieces hitting the ocean floor. They notified the pentagon and the white house who chose to sit on it and let the misinformation run it’s course.

I wonder just how closely the navy triangulated the coordinates to the site. I bet they knew within a mile radius, maybe 100yd.
I saw a clip from a show about the submersible. I think it was Stockton Rush talking about it. He said the window was 7″ thick plexiglas and at the large pressures you can see it flex in a few inches. It will give you a warning when small cracks form.
