I know they’ll probably never find the huge treasure, but I sure like watching them try.

How many years have they been digging on that island and only found a few rusty artifacts. It’s funny the gubment lets them do what they’re doing to that island.

John TimmPosts: 358November 13, 2024 at 5:56 am #2298898Watch about 2-3 episodes and realize this show is a waste of time.

What show isnt a waste of time?
November 13, 2024 at 7:33 am #2298913Watch about two or three more, and you’ll be hooked. Like I said, I don’t know if they’ll ever find the Motherlode. But, it sure is kind of fun to watch all the equipment and the technology they use. And I don’t think anybody can ever dispute the fact that they’re finding some pretty weird shafts and underground stuff, don’t worry all my friends give me heck about liking this show too

Finding gold in the water was interesting. I had always thought something very important was buried there, but removed a LONG time ago. Now I am less in that camp and thinking something might still be buried to leech off those minerals.
CaptainMuskyPosts: 22454November 13, 2024 at 7:55 am #2298919Yeah, I dont watch the show live anymore so I can fast forward through parts that get repetitive. That Jack Begley adds zero value to the show. THe Australian guy is hilarious though with his top pocket find! Its amazing how different the two brothers are. Marty is more of the type that I have to see it to believe it while RIck is more an optimist. They had a spinoff where they went in search of civil war gold that was rumored to be stashed on a train and stolen from the South somewhere and made it to the great lakes, but derailed and went into the lake. THey found some interesting things, but never the treasure. People have looked for this stuff for eons so its likely been found and buried with whoever found it when they died. The Oak Island one is intriguing. You dont go through the trouble of all those tunnels etc without trying to hide something. Whether its still there or will ever be found remains to be seen.

November 13, 2024 at 8:59 am #2298938I need to find a way to financially gain off old guys thinking that Oak Island and Paul/Tyson fights are legitimate.

If they found something historic, you’d already know about it. I had a coworker who would always complain about her husband’s obsession with the “Finding Bigfoot” show. If they would’ve actually found Bigfoot, it would be the biggest zoological discovery in modern history. I think a network or two might break the story by the time the episode airs.
November 13, 2024 at 1:08 pm #2299002I think the Hoffmans from Gold Rush would be a great fit to the Oak Island show
