Fished Mobridge yesterday and today the walley bite is very slow. Yesterday we had one keeper eye and one small one, a few perch an a cat and white bass. Today we put in and walth bay one five lb pike and one small salmon.

Sounds like a tough bite. What’s keeping the activity level so low?

I wish I had the answer for you. I guess the bit was hot last Thursday through Sunday with big fish being caught. It rained I guess Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday the wind blew like crazy. We fish sharp on Friday and got our limit of 16 eyes. Nothing big just good eater size.

Temps look like they’re going to stay a lower for a bit now. I’d rather fish in this weather than when it is 90 degrees with 100% humidity. I’d bet with a couple days of stable weather your fish will be back on the feed.
