They go from Super Bowl hopeful to 4-11. What a terrible decision by A-Rodge to go sign with that dumpster fire of a team but actually he is a big part of the problem too. Unlike Farve who had a SB run in him still I think he’s washed.

Same thing happened to Favre at that s-hole. And Darnold. And Geno. And, and, and. It ain’t the players there.

i thought it was funny during the Vikings game, they had a picture/meme of the 3 QB’s drafted by the jets. Darnold, Smith playing and Sanches in the booth!!!! rotflol

Sanchez might suck in the booth even more than he sucked on the field. Had to say it. We draw a 3:00 game and get the B-squad.

EDIT – To be fair, most broadcast teams suck. Brady’s getting better but still leaves a LOT to be desired – bring back Greg Olsen to the #1 Fox team. Collinsworth is washed-up and Turico is bland. Romo is like an annoying kid in the back of a car on a road trip that wont shut up. Not going to even start with Buck and Aikman.

Herbstreit and Michaels are the best – Michaels is nearing the end and is the only legendary voice left from my childhood. It will be a sad day when he hangs it up.

Sanchez wasn’t terrible as a QB. He had a really good final season at USC in 2008 and then led the Jets to the AFC Championship his rookie year in 2009.

But ya, the Jets and Giants are both a dumpster fire this season. Especially the Jets. They actually have pretty good players but still only 4 wins. You could argue they are the biggest disappointment this season for an NFL team.

Well college aside – he did have to play most of his career for the Jets, so the fact that he was able to put together a winning season there was rather impressive – you’re correct.

I didn’t think he was a very good QB myself either so I looked up his stats, and he wasn’t as bad as I thought.

I don’t know if it’s just the grumpy old man setting in but imo there are so few ok announcers, let alone good ones. And I’m not picky I love Gus Johnson. But between your examples and the guys I’ve never heard of in the CFB Playoffs it’s a joke.

Gus Johnson is great for basketball…he’s terrible for football.

    Herbstreit and Fowler
    Herbstreit and Michaels
    Brady and what’s his face
Greg Olson and what’s his nuts

Greg McElroy and Brock Huard are ok. The rest of them are just garbage.

I still like Gus for football, the highlights overcome the misses on every other play for me lol.

The Bears and the Jets are making a strong case for relegation in the NFL.

I love to see Rogers do his best to assemble a team that will satisfy his ego and they still stuck. Love to see Adam bolt out of a good situation in GB to sign with the Raiders for more money, then force his way out of there to go play with Rogers again so they could get serious about winning the SB.

They talked during that game about how Adams wanted to catch Rogers 500th touchdown. He had the chance and dropped it, then pretended his back hurt.

Did Adams get more money from the Raiders? I thought he signed for less just so he could play with Carr, his college bud and QB.

The Jets and Browns have to have the worst front offices in the NFL.

    How so?

Yeah I dont get that either. THe only reason they had a bad record last year was because of the key injuries to Cousins, Hockenson and Jefferson for large portions of the season.

KOC wouldn’t let his players run the team. They have great team chemistry. Completely opposite of what the Jets are.

This year we are capitalizing on getting lots of turnovers on D too which has been great.

But they didn’t, and they aren’t.

You guys see the story that dropped a few days ago about the Jets owner nixing a trade for Jerry Jeudy in the offseason because Jeudy’s madden rating wasn’t high enough?
And they didn’t sign a guard because his ‘awareness’ stat in Madden was too low?

That’s a whole ‘nother level of incompetence and it’s no mystery why the Jets are perpetual losers if that’s how they are making decisions over there.

True, the Vikes do have a lot of 1-score differentiator outcomes, But I think that’s actually a majority of games now across the league- and that’s how it’s supposed to be. NFL has a good product going right now. Draws in viewers for the competition even if they don’t have a dog in the hunt.

Just more proof that because you are a next generation billionaire you aren”t always smart & have business savvy. We see it all over football where the owners aren’t as smart as they think. Jones in Dallas, Kraft in New England, McCaskeys in Chicago. Money doesn’t equate to brains.

That’s what you get when you have literal teenagers running the place and they’re making roster moves based on a players Madden rating.

The Jets are making a good case today that they are the worst team in the league. It’s 40-0 in Buffalo.
