Theyve been battling lots of cracks and were in the process of rerouting, but yeah, there is a reason there hasnt been a road to the angle across the lake. Last year was pure desperation due to closed borders, but now or any normal year its not cost effective to maintain and just break equipment.
Every significant change of wind direction costs thousands of dollars of labor and wear and tear on equipment.
Just because something is possible doesn’t mean it is practical. This is a good choice.
