I was curious about this so I googled it.

Snow is an insulator. Its R-value varies, depending on moisture content and density of the snow granules; but on average snow has an R-value of 1 per inch — about the same as wood. Twelve inches of snow have roughly the same insulating value as a 2×4 wall filled with fiberglass insulation.

Damn. No wonder igloos are so warm and toasty.

May not be the best situation but better then 34 degree and sunny and upper 20’s at night..at least closer to the metro we’re still ahead of the game for the most part at least for walk out…no driving but of course “someone” has to be first yay

I think we got 5″ tops, maybe 6, so hopefully we might be able to walk in the metro?

Saw someone walk across spring park Bay at Tonka today. Too far away to tell but sure didn’t look like he had a spur bar. Neighbor here seemed to drill a few holes
