25-1/2” was my biggest for the year. Pretty solid for northern WI and considering this was the only weekend I fished seriously without the kids…

28.25″ was the biggest for me coming out of the st croix, and some awesome salmon from Lake Michigan.

No monsyers for me this year, but a few decent ones. The best has been my kid catching some nice ones. He caught his biggest northern and pike this year. A 36 inch pile and 18 inch largemouth. Neither is necessarily a wall hanger, but to a 9 year old they were giants. Thats been every bit as fun as catching them myself.

I caught my share of big fish this year but to be honest I think my favorite one this year was a cutthroat trout from Yellowstone. Just because the whole experience of where, when and who I was with made the catch so much more than what it appears from a photo. I hope to go back and experience that area again!

Nothing spectacular for myself, but I was sure proud of my wife and kids with the fish they put in the boat this year, all from Mille Lacs.
    Walleye 29.5″ for my wife
Pike 42″ for my 5 year old daughter
Largemouth 22.25″ also my 5 year old daughter
