Whats the biggest fish you got last year. Or trophy. I got a 64 inch sturgeon but my 29.5 walleye is my prize. Kid has a 28. Both from Rainey river same trip

    28-3/4” Walleye on Mille Lacs,
    Slip Bobber and Leech.
Hopefully this year I’ll crack that 30” mark somewhere.

I’ve been on the hunt for my 30 for 10 years. I really hope this is the year.

140# tarpon in Puerto Rico. Caught quite a few walleye in the 28” range on P2 this summer but I’m also on the hunt for a 30” still.

Wow nice tiger! Please post a pic sometime. Does netting a 30″ walleye count? If so netted many, use to go to Canada every year for 18 years and the red river in fall, have not personally caught one yet though.

I fished less this year then I have in the last 49 years. Maybe 5 times(?)

The Fw says that’s the reason I’m so crabby. crazy

2020 in many ways was a dumpster fire but in a few ways, opened up new opportunities.

I just need a minnow and snow shovel.

A minow snow shovel and dumpster fire sounds like a awesome day. Maybe I should head your way

My biggest at home walleye is 23. And by that I mean lakes by my house. Not traveling any where

That’s quite the trip. Did you hook into the sturgeon while you were walleye fishing?

Boated a legit 31″ walleye and a 40.25″ monster laker this year

    2020 was an absolute blast!

My biggest fish for 2020 was a 44 inch Pike. Caught on Mille Lacs.

My 8 yr old son had a good year too. Fun watching him catch stream trout on his own

    I hear ya brother!

To be honest I’d rather pull one up through the ice vs. open water.
If my boy beats me to it , I believe that would be pretty special to.

No real big walleyes for me this year. Had a good number of them between 29 and 30 in the boat. Three 29″+ walleyes in the boat in a few hours was a memorable trip. Only had one walleye in the boat this year over 30 and she was just a little over 32″s. I was net man on that one. Going to be tough to beat that one.

Lots of memorable fish this past year. Caught my biggest eye in the river pool by my house, some very nice pike in local waters, and saw my biggest crappie get lost by the net guy.

My youngest tied into her first carp this spring. That was a blast. Lots of suckers up to now for her but always managed to not get a carp. She got front page on her school newsletter for it.

Started the year with a 27 inch Walleye on Pool 2 (Thanks Mike W). Had a pretty decent year numbers-wise, but then in the fall I popped a 22 inch Largemouth out of a local lake. Pretty happy with that big girl. Bass do count, Nyah!

A 28 3/4″ walleye on the river here near home was my biggest this year.

I easily fished less than any other year in my life with the addition to the family. I wouldn’t trade it for the world though…and appreciate each outing that much more. Gone are the days of fishing 2-3 days a week and most evenings!

Man I fished more this year than the last 5 combined thanks to the pandemic. Probably 50 trips to P4 and biggest was only a 25″ post spawn eye. I had to of boated a dozen sheep in the 10-15lb range does that count?
The 30″ club is a very exclusive club but I think this is my year! Good luck everyone in going after your goals.

My biggest eye this year was 26.5. Biggest in my boat was just shy of 28.

i hear ya. i wish i had a bunch of “close” fish but only maybe 4 tanks that could be trophy quality. there are 10 to 15lb eyes swimming in P4 from late march to mid april so the window is there, just got to get that one bite! just not the same seeing a long skinny fish in june. river fish are just built different than lake fish as you know…….absolute units!

Had a couple 29.5” in the boat this fall on P2. I’m determined to put a 30”+ walleye in the boat 15 minutes from home. I’ll also be on P4 this spring giving it a go.

Will be at Flag island in a month. My biggest through the ice is 27”….feel like it’s time to stick a pig through the ice up there.
