Not Bad For First Ice

    Got out this evening in the metro. 3 inches and a little sketchier than I like it so didn’t go out too far. But the view was incredible.

    Four inches up here but fish didn’t cooperate. 2 small eyes catch and release. Beautiful night on ice. Good just to be out.

    Beautiful! We hit a small local lake after getting back from Red, a light snow and piece and quiet!

    Is there good ice in the Grand Rapids area or along that line ? Going up to see the sister in-law soon.

    These are the conditions where you walk off in the dark and it’s like walking on the void. It can be a little unsettling.

    Agreed! Ice fishing produces a lot of beauties imo, and one of the underrated reasons to go out.
