If you are hearing bad things about the Ulterra you are listening to the wrong people.
Sticker on the Ulterra Link is $3049.00 but Reeds has a 20% off thing going so it’s $2,600 & some change.

LEANING ulterra but I am not hearing alot of good reports on them.
The only problem I have had with the ulterra is the 3 screws that hold the up and down motor in place loosened up. I put loctite on them a year ago and have not had a problem since. This trolling motor has really been a plus. Just makes fishing so much easier. I run a tiller and never leave the back of the boat.
I was impressed with the amount of boats there, every brand I was interested in and more. And wow the Vexus 22’ would be fun on some of MN’s real big lakes…if you have 92k laying around!
That would get you around God’s lake in style!

Hey Jeff, just thought of another problem with the ulterra. The 1st time I tried it was in the garage. The head got stuck in the trusses. I had a heck of a time getting it back down. What a knucklehead.

Haha not sure if the draft would make it through the channel to come visit you BT!

Ah man they had one onsite! I love the look at those bad boys, I am really curious on the future of Vexus boats are
I’ll be at the Line Cutterz booth all day Friday and walking around a bit too.
Nice to meet you today Pete. Next time I see you, maybe we’ll be on the water. .
Marine General rocks! Russ hooked me up big time on a new Terrova iPilot Link MDI. Shot me such a good price out of the chute I didn’t even think twice about shopping around. Not only that, they knocked $25 ea off of MN & WI Lakemaster, 25% off the Salmo lures I’d grabbed and $100 off of a $300 Diawa baitcasting rod (7’Tatula) and reel (Diawa SV 103) combo. Not only did I save money but they were super friendly and knowledgeable.
Also picked up an Enigma HPT 7’2″ spinning rod. on the way out of the show (not from MG).
Even though I didn’t buy an $80,000 Skeeter, Ranger or Triton, I did my part to keep the economy afloat.
Going down today to look at new electronics package for the Skeeter, not sure what to rig. New depth finders and bow mount trolling motor. LEANING ulterra but I am not hearing alot of good reports on them.
I recommend talking to Russ at Marine General. He knocked $300 off of a $2,350 Terrova 80 iPilot Link MDI for me and a pile off of the other stuff I bought. Before today the best deal I’d found was $2,300. You tack a depth finder on top of that and they’ll get crazy. Free shipping to me too.
I’m shopping for two brand new hummingbirds….. # 410950-1NAV
So far I can only find one at a great price + tax & shipping.
What exactly is Minnesota Northwest of?
Yes I know why it is called that, it’s a joke. A bad one at that.
We found a pretty sweet deal at Thorne Brothers, two Garmin
GPSMAP 1042 and a new 36V ulterra.
Trying to decide if we want to purchase the live chart transducer.
The guys at the thorne Brothers booth were very good to work with on deciding what type of electronics package that would work for us.
Don’t forget to give then a chance on your purchases if you go there.
