I had one break the tail after 3 walleyes. Contacted Northland, and they graciously replaced it and also sent along an extra. Caught 3 walleyes on the replacement and it broke the tail as well. I have yet to break the tail on a Rapala Jigging Rap while fishing. Used them exclusively for a couple seasons and held up to anything I did. Can’t say that for the Northland Puppet Minnow. Anyone else having issues with the Puppet Minnows?

That’s the wonderful Chinese work done on a lot of fishing tackle these day. Get out the super glue, then buy a different brand when you are ready for more.
Don’t know about the Puppet Minnow but Rapala Scatter Raps the front lip and the hooks pull out of the body. This is from small pike and walleye hitting them. They suck.
I sent 3 back to Rapala with an explanation. Rapala sent 3 new ones with no explanation or any compensation for my shipping.
Now I have 2 more junk ones to send back.
