I was just wondering if anyone knows if they still make them or if there is anyplace that might have some for sale. I can’t seem to find them anywhere online. They are the neon glow split shot weights made by Northland. I was given a bunch of them a long time ago and have lost most of them over the years. In my opinion they are way better at marking depth position on tip-ups/rattle wheels than small bobbers or bobber stops. Bobbers are fine during the day but at night you cant really see how much line the fish has taken. Any help would be much appreciated.

I stop using split shot to mark depths many years ago now. They can nick you line and cost you a fish. My friend was using a button as a depth marker and it worked real well. I put one on all my tip ups now. They stay in place well and can be easily moved without damaging the line. I’ve always used black but I’d think white or other bright colors would show up well at night. Give it a try. I think you will like it.
