Many lakes in the Hayward Areas Lakes have a wide ice conditions anywhere from 1-4 inches of ice. With the rain that we have received and warmer temps those conditions many have changed quickly and be extremely dangerous. Earlier this week some anglers have been going out and targeting walleyes and pan-fish. Many of the larger lakes remain open and should be starting to ice over towards the end of next week with the foretasted temps.
Please you caution if you are going to head out this weekend.
