Northern and panfish favorites right now?

    New to icefishing and wondering what northerns and panfish are hitting right now and what depth. Thx!

    In about two to four weeks, I would start to look at weed edges again, 10 to 20 feet of water.

    Pike in 8-15 ft of water.
    I got crappies 30 ft down over 42 ft.
    Sunfish really depends on the lake. Some are deep, some in weeds 8-15 ft

    Like Glenn said, totally lake specific. I had bluegills 5 feet off the bottom in 35 feet but nothing up shallow near weeds on a local lake. 10 miles down the road they’re only in the weeds in 5 feet with plenty of deep water available. Pike are usually not far away from the gills.

    Sunfish my favorite is a VMC tungsten fly. Usually chartreuse, second is the smallest Northland forage minnow spoon.
