I’ll be heading up to the north west angle the first week in June. It will be my first time up there and I’m wondering what to expect. How does it differ from the southern part of the lake? What techniques should be working for walleye? Any advice?
    Thanks!

shoreline points! jigs and minnows, also spinners and minnows. Too early generally speaking for reef fishin g. Have a good map, and or chip, watch your step! good fishing!

Look into how you have to pack your fish bringing them home thru Canada. I have a friend who got a fine for packing two fish per bag. That’s legal for MN, but they were told they had to pack fish for Canadian transport.
