Anyone got conditions on Anoka stretch? Possibly Rum ramp? Any lakes still open? I fear the cold has everything locked up. Went to Boom island and was worse, pic is from BP, got a hall pass from Bday parties and took a chance and loaded up boat. Seems this time, I may not chance out.

Drove over the rum twice in the past two days and saw ice floating. Ramp on the miss by 694 was good to go yesterday. Water is high enough to get around.
Well I assessed the probability of actually fishing in the ice fields and drove back home.
Wasn’t too concerned with the size of the ice at this point in the cold season, just the amount of it.
Would’ve been a PIA being forced to only fish directly behind the boat. The pic doesn’t make it seem to bad but she was clogged up good. Especially when it gets to the bends where my spots were in the area, ice would’ve been stacked.
Hope it clears out with the warmer weather next couple days so I can at least try some shore spots if I find the time.
Seeing the ice floating on the rum maked me want to go for one more boat ride out there for the season. 
Would’ve went out but 2 big ice sheets on ramp. Should’ve prepped. Live and learn. Off to shore spots for the evening snowfall.
