Some buddies and I are going to North Dakota at the end of December in the Valley City area to ice fish for my birthday. I have a few places in mind, but any input would be appreciated. We are targeting the perch as many do up there. Catching some walleye wouldn’t be a bad deal either! Again, any input would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Devils is fun, but southeastern ND can be a gem if you find the fish.
Alot of cool, productive lakes between VC and Jamestown. Perch are boom or bust and each year is different. Eckelson, Kee, Moon are all notable lakes where you’ll be rewarded if you get away from crowds. Ashtabula will give you as many 9″ perch as you want.
