North Dakota

I know this is a fishing post but this is the only social media I do.
Went to SW North Dakota this weekend, first time in 32 years I have pheasant hunted. Got our limit both days.
THe people I met were GREAT!! THe lady that owned the farm we stayed at ( brother in law has been going there over 30 years) chatted me up for over 45 minutes Sunday nite at the end of her 15 hour shift on the farm. Bless her 75 year young body. What a sweetheart!
Saw my first Mule deer and antelope ever too – pretty cool.
Headed to Canada one more time this fall so hope the weather stays good.

Nice, looks like a great trip! When you miss does it hurt more seeing the bird fly away for the whole day in ND?

OMG, I have pictures I took for my wife looking West – a whole lot of NOTHIN man.
Yeah, seeing them drop down 1/2 mile away gives me lots of time to rue over a poor shot that’s for sure.
THe lab is a great dog but man was he out of shape. He would “work” in front of me in the afternoon when the grass was short and follow behind me in the afternoon when it got tall. Had that look on his face “yeah, I’m tired, keep walking sonny” You know, 10″ tongue hanging all the way out
