Well if I recall right Norn Green was running from a sexual harassment scandal and Dallas was his best, quickest option. I suppose my memory could be fading but I don’t think so.

Never thought I would pull for a Southern team to win the Cup but……..

I am torn…hard to see a Florida team win. But was a huge Steve Yzerman fan as as a kid and he basically built that team.

Can’t root for Dallas because of the obvious but I am a big fan of Jamie Benn. Well because he will go top shelf and then punch you in the face.

Benn is my definition a complete douche. Talented player that if you play him close and shut him down, the cheap shot is coming shortly.

Didn’t the Stars win the Stanley Cup the very next year after they moved to Dallas from Minnesota?

I think the Bolts are a better and deeper team but I did not expect the Stars to still be playing either.

As Tampa’s vastly greater skill takes control of the series, Benn gets dumber and dumber. More out of control late hits, more high hits, more targeting attempts.

Benn is well known for being a complete locker room cancer, so yes if he were on the Wild I’d want him gone. The Stars GM has had had multiple attitude adjustment sessions with Benn. Totally NOT the kind of player we want or need.

Yeah I’m sure he is a locker room cancer as the captain of the team in the Stanley Cup. Too bad the wild don’t have some of these cancers. The wild should get more guys that are soft nice guys and keep getting steam rolled in the playoffs so they can talk about their feelings in the locker room. The NHL commentators were spot on, I think it was Sharpie or Jonesie, who said Kuch’s demeaner is completely different than in the past. He used to take some cheap shots and slam his stick all the time. He’s better for it.

I laughed at all the penalties Radulov took and when he hurt himself trying to run Goodrow. I hate him more than Benn.

The way it should be is you can buy a team but the name stays with the state, have always liked the logo and the name ‘North Stars’

Yeah I can think of a few players as well that I would take in front of Benn. Not many in front of Marchand but I would take both Benn and Marchand over any player the wild currently have on their roster. Heck maybe even in their franchise history for that matter. Yeah would hate to have 75 plus point proven players on the team that are tough and show up when it counts. I suppose you wouldn’t take Kane either because he is kind of a dink. Hopefully Billy G can keep fleecing teams for there resurrection projects so they can all play cards together in the locker room.

OK, I’ll be honest, if I had Marchand or Benn on my team I would definitely flip. It’s not like we are talking about players like Darcy Tucker, Sean Avery or Matt Cook…whoops. Cook was definitely reformed when the Wild got him, yeah that’s the ticket.

Can I change my mind. I love Jamie Benn.
