I’ve noticed that there are no other fisherman on the lakes that you are pulling in those nice fish. Are they private lakes? I would like to see more of you guys fishing near other people. Face the challenge that the average fisherman faces.

    Sorry, just found this.

We never fish private bodies of water. Ever. We do face all the challenges faced by other anglers. We just deal with them differently than most. Some will see a crowd of anglers and try to join in. We head to the other side of the lake. And if we do have a few people around us we have trained our camera operators to not show them to protect their privacy.

My question to you is why would you fish near other people when you have endless options to not do so?

Not to split hairs here but I thought your Nebraska panfish video from last year was on a private body of water?

Not to my knowledge. We launched right off the road grade through the ditch. If that was private we owe someone an apology..along with several other groups on this ice that day. Seriously, if it was private I’ll own it.

I checked with Steve. When we fished it the owner was letting people access it. Since that time he’s clamped down on access as people were abusing it. So, I’ll man up and own that we have fished one body of water in 15 years with several other groups of anglers we didn’t know that had all accessed through private land. waytogo

    Standing up and owning up.
    One lake at a time.
Now go find us another cool location and show us more great fishing

I think we’ve got a good one coming for next week. Or at least I’m excited about it anyway. waytogo

No need to apologize; it was more of a general interest comment coming from a guy that knew one of the guys you fished with that day.

If anything, IDO has proven to be more than upfront about about the locations they are fishing. Keep up the great work, please.
