No Tangles

I know hard sided cases are better but I got a Cabelas soft rod bag from my daughters for Christmas so that’s what I use.
However rods getting tangled was getting a bit old. I bought a ten foot piece of 1″ pvc for $1.59 and cut sleeves to slide on the rods.

Just thought I’d share for the guys n gals in the same boat. It works great!

Did you buy it at fleet farm? I just had a guy come in a few days ago and buy one for that reason!

    Hi,

Can you shoot me a picture of what this looks like? Trying to envision how you are strapping the pvc and the rods down so they don’t move.

PS: I have the same bag and issue right now.

    Thanks

Looks like a money making idea to me. Add a rubber loop on the end to go around the reel to keep it in place and charge 5 bucks a piece.

Fluorescent light bulb protectors work also and are lighter.

If you can find old golf bag tubes they are very light and cheap.
