No Mow May 🌱

We planted a really big pollinator garden last year. So we decided that we are mowing the yard since we put in a few hundred pollinator plants. It does seem like it’s gaining momentum.

When I lived in Colorado my wife and neighbors wife decided it was a good idea to plant pollinators around the mail boxes. They grew well and had a lot of bee traffic. After our neighbors sold their house and moved the new neighbor lady ripped out the pollinators claiming they looked like weeds and she didn’t like bees anyway. Wife was not happy. Made for a couple uncomfortable years until we moved.
