What size engine you got in that bad boy and she all ready to tow some toys around?
5.3 L. Based on the paint in the receiver, it had never towed anything until yesterday!

My wife and I both used a car broker for our last vehicles. We called him and told him what we were looking for, our price range, and what we had for trade in. Once he found them, he drove them to our house to let us test drive them.
They were what we wanted. He had the paperwork already filled out and ready to go. We signed the paperwork, he left us the keys to the new vehicle, and drove our old one away.
I’ll never buy from a dealership again.
What’s a new 5.3 get for mileage nowadays? Fixing some stuff here and there got my 05 up to almost 17mpg average
My 2014 Yukon XL(Suburban) if I drive all freeway and Don’t go over 70 can get 21 to 21.7 mpg.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but were they truly get you is in the financing. Research current used car interest rates for the area to find a fair range. If they are offering an interest rate higher then what you researched, get financing on your own. My brother was in the market for a new car. Price was a couple thousand lower than anywhere close, but the interest rate was almost 2 points higher.
Been watching this thread as we are looking to buy a new truck. Haven’t bought new since 1986. Went to a no haggle dealer. They were very professional and pleasant but where too high and wouldn’t budge so we moved on. Ran into another dealer that was crazy high pressure and after telling him twice to back off the pressure sale we walked. Working with w really good dealer at the moment and may close a deal soon.

I walked in with 2.75% in my back pocket and after his fit, ended up at 2.09%.
I just bought a new vehicle yesterday. St Paul Federal Credit Union got me 1.98% for 6 yrs on a Ford Explorer Sport. I found the one I want and bought it sight unseen over the phone. This was the only new one in town at the price I wanted so I didn’t dare haggle on one of the last 2016s in town. I have been watching them for a few weeks and they were moving fast.
SPFCU is at 1.98% for up to 6 yrs even down to a 2006 used car if I recall. It is an amazing rate for a used vehicle if you ask me!!!

Yeah, that’s a good rate!
Well, they’ll haggle, though it went quickly and was less painful than other vehicles I’ve bought. After a bit of a tantrum by their finance guy, I walked out with a smoking interest rate and a good price!
Sharp looking truck Ryan!
A few years back I had a quote for 1.99 percent from my credit union. When I talked to the dealer they found a rate of 1.95 the problem was it was a bank from tim-buck-two. I like dealing somewhat local so was going to use my credit unions rate. When I called the info in to the CU I said the dealer found me a better rate. The CU loan officer asked what it was. Told them 1.75. She said I can match that rate. Ever since that I really haggle on the interest rate. Every time got a lower rate than what is posted on their website.

I use SPFCU as well, and they always have good rates.
1.99% on for 6 years on a 2006+ boat. I could not find that anywhere.
