No Good Deed Goes….Unrewarded

Well the kids were begging me to go fishing today, so we packed a couple rods and waxies then headed down to the creek.

On our short drive, I spotted a wallet on the centerline of the county road.

Inside was credit cards, debit card, $60 cash, DL, etc etc. I looked for an easy way to get ahold of the owner but came up empty.

After a quick call to the sheriff’s department, they sent the cutest deputy in the county right to the creek

The kids and I were happy to see that the owner will get his wallet back, and they were rewarded with an incidental pike

After she left the boys said, “Dad, she was very beautiful.” (Proud Dad here lol)

I have never been cuffed and hauled away in a small backseat by a deputy that looked that good.What county is this?

Great story! Kudos to you for teaching your children correctly. That $60 may mean a lot to the individual that lost their wallet, and the pain of losing an ID, CCs, etc… Thank you for sharing. BTW, great side note about the Deputy and your Childrens. Loved it!!!! Perhaps vocational inspiration to them too! Great Parenting!!!

I was going to mention this also but saw no harm in double, triple, or quadruple posting this pic.

We had a few very attractive deputies in Washington County while I worked on the FD. Always a good day when they had lunch at the FD and we got to chat them up. Great personalities as well. Give those women a lot of credit doing what they do.
