Skeeter dropped the MX line? Not on their 2020 website.

Yes, my understanding is they plan to discontinue the MX models.

Correct, one of the longest running deep v models has had a long productive life.

Bummer, but that’s life in the big city. Fantastic boat, love my MX 2040!

Glad I picked one up this year. A lightly used ‘18 model but not many out there for sale.

    Dam!!

That means the 1825 I was planning on getting in a handful of years will now be even more valuable grin

What a shame. Marketing department failed us. Love my MX 1825 one of the best Muskie layouts of all time. Low step up deck heights, great cockpit, awesome side rod locker, huge 50” livewell. Good luck with the WX trying to be all things to all people and thus being nothing to anybody.

Sad to see the MX boats go away. I have 1 of the early MX1825, a 2012 model. Love it on the water i fish. The problem was dealers that didn’t market them like SBC did. I wonder how many 1825 models that Dave, Dean, Justin, Cal, and ?? actually sold? I would bet more than all the other dealers combined in the Midwest.
I went to a dealer and looked at a single counsel 1825 before I ordered mine from SBC. They still had it in 2016!! This dealer told me it was the worst boat that Skeeter ever came out with!!
Again sad to see it go.

They seem to change model numbers and lines every couple of years, hard to keep up for a non skeeter guy. Can’t be great for resale when you buy a boat model and the number changes or it’s discontinued every 2 years. Tell me you have a 619/620/621 and I know exactly what you have, skeeter not so much……..

We carry both brands and skeeter will not take a backseat to anyone in respect to re-sale. At least in our trade area.

Bad move on Skeeter’s part! I have a 2014 mx 1825 that I bought new from sbc in 2016. It truly is ‘the ultimate 18 fishing boat’ as it was marketed as. The plan was to get a new one down the road with a 200 on it. Guess now it’s going to be a Tuffy ( my second runner up when I was looking at boats). And I’ll put a damn Mercury on it!
