Does the NMEA network supply power to HDS gen3 units ? I am putting together a network for my two hds gen3 units and wondering if the units will get power from the NMEA network power.
No need for the Blue power connectors to the head units ?

The NMEA actually needs it’s own power to then transfer and receive information from your HDS units and other accessories that may be connected to the backbone. The HDS units still need their own power sources via the blue power connectors that are connected to your power source. I run all of mine straight to the battery. (Starting battery)
