This is a good thread, a microcosm of what’s wrong these days. A guy post his opinion on a site made for that and half the comments are negative di**s asking why he post what does and commenting crap to point out that they disagree in some way. You seen the title chose to open it, read it and took the time to talk crap? Like your opinion is somehow more important than his? How about live and let live? Have some respect for others? Nope not today! F the President! F you and your onion in this free nation because what I think is right and I am about to tell you! This was once a great site for good people to make interesting and informational comments. Lately it’s become just like the rest of society, negative for the sake of arguing. Just my .02

Early ice is a whole lot better or more of a “peak” than when there’s 2′ of ice and everyone is driving all over with fishing being far more negative. I take January and February off most years to let the yahoos do their thing before late ice bite comes and the crowds leave.

Sorry to just drop one foot and forget about the other. I have been hunting Elk in Wyoming most of Sept. with mule deer taking up early Nov. jn Montana. No Nikes were purchased or used on either trip. I guess the nike does’t pass the thin ice test either. You know with thin ice you just have to walk faster…
