    Good sunset/after dark bite on the croix right now for walleye.
    Load your boat quick in shallow sand dunes with current. Troll cranks and PUMP that rod or cast/rip it back.

    Yes, thanks for the tip. Is this still going on? I know it has been over 2 weeks since you wrote this and the temperature has changed some too. Finally we are getting some cooler evenings.

    Where I fish the croix this bite almost never ends.

    Sands dunes at night are always a great pattern most times of the year.

    As FBRM would tell you though….not all dunes are creates equal!!

    I haven’t been out and the last report i heard about this bite was a week ago. The bite was moderate for him, and non-existent during the day.
    I’d venture to guess that those shallow areas with current are still seeing fish move in at dark.
