Buffalo lost the game as much as KC won it. You can’t kick the ball out of the end zone with 13 seconds left. You can’t let Davis & Hill go for nearly 400 yards receiving. Hill is just flat a$$ fast. There was no catching him once he turned that corner.

Think Erin will buy a ticket to get into the Super Bowl or will somebody comp him one?

I agree. The Bills had their chance. Really soft, prevent defense with 13 seconds left. That one is on Leslie Frazier, the Defensive Coordinator.

He probably has both options available to him, along with staying home with his MVP trophy this year. You plan on going Dutchy? chased

Reminds me of his time here as HC…

Me and Erin were going to go together but I haven’t heard from him so I’m not sure. wink

I’ll probably watch from the couch. All season long I read from the Packer fans that it was another Super Bowl year, wonder if they all booked their travel and bought tickets? No way of knowing since they have all disappeared. lol

Man that brought up memories of the Leslie Frazier prevent from winning defense!!! I don’t know how anyone could hire him to be the head coach after that debacle. 13 seconds to not let them get 40 yards. It’s to bad it come down to a coin flip as you knew who ever won the flip was going to go right down and score. Both Defenses were gassed.

Brings up the old debate. Have you defense just grab and hold all WR/RB/TE’s as soon as the ball is snapped. Its then a 5 yard holding penalty, but runs time off the clock and no pass can be completed. Until there is no time on the clock and one hail mary attempt. Crappy move, but within the rules.

I think the OT rules are fine. I don’t think we’d be hearing as much criticism if Buffalo had won the toss and scored a TD instead of KC.
I don’t recall anyone complaining about the rules when Rudolph scored the opening drive TD in OT against the Saints a few years ago and the Saints didn’t have a chance.

OT rules are alot better now than when the Vikes played the Saints the first time in the playoffs with Farve. Saints won the coin toss and I think they ran 3-4 plays, one being a bogus PI on Leber then kicked the game winning field goal from 50 or so yards out I think..Favre never saw the ball.

OT rules are fine now. At least they make a team score a TD on the first drive or the other team gets a shot.
The coin flip doesnt bother me at all. What else are they going to do to determine who gets the ball first?

Think Brady and A.R. need to take their torches to UPS this afternoon. Send them to Mahomes and Allen, maybe Stratford. They all outshined in the big games. Allen is a stud when they needed first downs. He had 2 DBs between him and the yard he needed. He lowered his shoulder and dropped both of them. Sending one to the blue tent. Not the best for the coaching staffs heart condition. But nice to see a pro athlete play to win for 60 minutes. There’s some new Sheriffs in town.

Question for all you football gurus:

If you had to take Patrick Mahomes or Josh Allen as your QB, who would you rather have at this point?

    Tough call.

What an awesome weekend of football, I can’t remember a full slate of uber competitive games like that!

    Isn’t that the truth!
Not sure I’ve ever seen a playoff weekend with that many off the chart games!

The Bills/Chiefs game has to be one the best I’ve ever seen. Should go down as 1 of the all time best.
I do think the OT rules need change. Buffalo got the shaft. The game shouldn’t be decided on the flip of a coin. There’s gotta be a better solution.

Next week’s games should be thrillers too!

All 100% dead on. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a better playoff weekend. 3 walk off game winning FG’s and a Crazy final 3 minutes and overtime in the 4th game.
That Bills/ Chiefs game was without a doubt the best football game I’ve watched. I hated to see one team have to lose.
OT rules needs to be changed to at least allow both teams a chance on Off. If the team that wins the coin flip scores, then the other team has a chance to match that score or exceed it. This keeps going until one team wins. During the playoffs for sure. I would prefer it for the whole season. No game should ever end in a Tie.

College OT is both more exciting and far more fair. Should be a no-brainer.

Either would be just fine by me! If I had to choose, probably Mahomes as Allen still runs a lot and is therefore more injury prone.

And for the never watching the NFL again guys, the Cowboys-49ers Wildcard game drew 41.5 million views, the most for a NFL Wild Card game in 7 years.

People probably don’t want to remember, but when Culpepper was in his prime with the Vikes, he was the Allen of the league. A big, intimating runner, with a cannon for an arm. But, he got hurt running, and was never the same again.

I’ll take Mahomes, only runs when he has to, and has killer arm talent.

I’m a big Mahomes fan. He’s just fun to watch. For that reason I’d pick him. But I don’t think a team could go wrong with either of them. Barring a injury, we are going to see lots of great games from both of them for many years.

OT should NOT be decided by a coin flip. Don’t like the Saints, Hate their coach but they should get a chance. It’s no different than traveling baseball with the kids. There were tournies where they ended up with a coin toss after they exhausted the few tie breaker rules they had. Like the college football solution better. More exciting in my opinion anyway.

    Mahomes without a doubt.
    8-2 vs 3-3 in playoffs.
Sorry but Allen hasn’t won squat yet.

I didn’t really pose the question based on the past. I was referring from this point forward, after watching that incredible game yesterday.

Maybe I didn’t make myself clear on that.

Still Mahomes for me. He is a winner on top of being one of the top QBs.

Who could forget Culpepper and his 16 Wonderlic score ( I believe Allen’s was close to 40 ) Culpepper was a great Athlete – Just didn’t have the brain to go with it. Then again not much Brain needed to just throw the ball up to Moss and let him go get it ( YOU GOT MOSSED !!!! )

The NFL reported that the Wild Card game between the 49ers and Cowboys on Sunday, Jan 16 was the highest rated wild card playoff game in 7 years with over 41 million viewers. Also, the Divisional game between the Bills and Chiefs on Sunday, January 23 was the highest rated divisional playoff game in 5 years with over 40 million viewers.

So far it’s a blow out in Kansas City. I kinda figured the Buffalo-KC game last Sunday was more of the AFC Championship game anyways. Too bad they had to meet in the divisional round but that’s how the seeds fell.
