I am in the same boat as you guys.
I doubt I watch the game.
It would have been great to see Buffalo and Washington in the big game.

I don’t recall a playoffs with more games being decided by turnovers, sure that is common in any game, but there were so many this postseason that were 2+ TO Margin it has to be close to a record.

Eagles-Chiefs the game no one, but the NFL, wanted. I’m not a Chiefs hater, so I’m hopping on their wagon for some history in a 3-peat. And Mahomes running down Brady for GOAT status, at his current rate he should have that done by age 35!!! Pretty incredible and we are lucky to witness these guys back to back.

I have no hate for kc or mahomes. I do think he is a whiney baby and he isn’t very entertaining to watch but that’s just my opinion.

This is easily the most “meh” I’ve ever felt about the NFL playoffs and now the SB. I’m not one to say I won’t watch…but there’s going to have to be a few board buy-ins and prop bets to keep my attention.

The only thing right about the game is I believe it’s the two best teams. Should be a good game and I lean towards rooting for the Chiefs because I’m a Swiftie.

We always watch the game and make a bunch of apps…that’s what really matters now. What are we gonna eat?

I dont like the Eagles at all but im rooting for them just because of Barkley. What he has done this season and in the playoffs is amazing. I also love his attitude and how humble he is. When he scores a touch down he just hands the ball to the refs and runs back to his team.

Hah…I might’ve been joking. But, I have a 9yo daughter so if the Chiefs are playing whether T Swift is at the game is as important as the game itself.

Agreed…I hate the stupidity of the Kelsey/Swift crap but I’ll root for them over Philly any day. My biggest issue with Philly isn’t the team, it’s the fans. Of course it’s always the bad apples that spoil it for everyone but it sure seems like there’s a lot of A-holes in that fan base.

I will say it ended as I projected. All my buddies said I was crazy picking both Philly and KC. I just can’t pick against KC. Until someone can beat then in a playoff, they are always the team I will pick. Not a real big Philly fan ( Hate those fans ) That said I do like Barkley and the way he plays the game. I really don’t get all the KC hate. I guess some people just don’t like teams that win and always want to cheer for the underdog. Personally I like KC. Great Coach, Great QB ( Not the best QB – But as of now the best in the playoffs ) He just makes plays when it matters the most and does what’s needed to win. He doesn’t seem to care about personal stats. Just wins. They are not the team with the best players. They somehow always seem to get the most out of their players when needed, whoever those players are.

I am with you guys on this. Really have nothing against the Eagles team/players themselves; it’s the trashy fanbase.

Same with the Chiefs. Nothing against Andy Reid or Mahomes or anyone else. Just get sick of seeing the same team win. They are the Patriots 2.0 now.

Go to any opposing teams stadium in your gear , I would expect razzing. Eagles fans no different

That’s not true. Philly is notorious for how they treat opposing teams fans. I won’t link the video because the language is nasty but google the fan interaction from the Philly / GB game. This dude berated a woman who was a GB fan…got fired and his season tix taken away. GB fans wouldn’t treat Vikes fans like that or vice versa. Philly is a whole nother level.

It’s very different actually. I’ve been to a bunch of opposing stadiums and have never gotten treated the way Philly fans treat opposing fans every week. They were throwing batteries at a 98 year old Vikings fan at the 2017/18 NFC Championship game even. Pure trash.

Razzing is one thing. What they did to that packer lady in the first round and the guy ended up getting fired from his job OR the throwing batteries and full beer cans a vikings fans is over the top. Packer fans are at least cordial.

    Agreed.

I’ve been to many Vikings vs. Packers games and have never once felt unsafe or that anything went beyond razzing. If you are a Viking fan and deck yourself out in purple for some Lambeau Tailgating, you will likely still get offered free brats, beer, and be treated much the same as everyone else.

Can confirm. GB and KC were the absolute best places to visit as an opposing fan. KC being the best because of the BBQ scene in the parking lot.

Here’s a random trivia question, that I did not know. Patrick Mahomes will become the 3rd QB to start in 5 Super Bowls along with Tom Brady and who? Don’t google it and post, let’s see if anyone gets it.

Elway is correct. Brady has 10, so Mahomes is halfway there.

The quarterbacks with four Super Bowl starts are all in the Hall of Fame: Terry Bradshaw, Joe Montana, Roger Staubach, Peyton Manning and Jim Kelly (only one to lose all 4).

The quarterbacks with three Super Bowl starts are Troy Aikman, Bob Griese, Kurt Warner and Fran Tarkenton, and Ben Roethlisberger.

And there are 22 with 2 SB starts, including Jalen Hurts now.

    Pretty sure it’s Elway.

Add Denver as great place for opposing fans to visit. Had a blast both Vikings games I have been to there.

I really don’t get all the KC hate.

whether you like to admit it or not, KC gets a lot of calls that end up going their way. so many so that its becoming hard to watch.

KC doesn’t have the best roster but they have the best quarterback and coaches. It’s seldom you see a KC team beat themselves.

I’m guessing most people are tired of KC because they gamble for or against them and they can’t figure KC out. Quit gambling and watch the game for the game. grin

Yeah I don’t hate KC. Just like to fresh teams in the big game. Oh well I’m sure I’ll play some boards watch the game and eat to much food.
