It’s just hard to know which team you’re going to get. Sam Howell threw for 290 against the Eagles and had them on the ropes. He also threw 4ints against the Bills and single handedly lost his team the game.

On the other side you have Fields who hasn’t done much with his legs so far (probably teams scheming against it) and only had 1 game where his arm made a significant number of plays – albeit against the Broncos.

I find it easier to predict/guess how good teams are going to stack up against one another than how 2 bad teams compare. I wouldn’t be shocked to see Washington’s front take over the game, while I also wouldn’t be shocked to see Fields rush for 100 yards and a TD, and throw for a couple more.

Bucky hope you took the over! Those might be the two worst defenses in the league. Fields had a great game on paper, and a few very nice balls. He also missed about a half dozen guys running wide open when he had no pressure on him. Hopefully the W gives the Bears a false sense of confidence for next weekend at Soldier Field vs the Vikes.

Yep. Most of those nice balls to DJ Moore. A player who happens to be on My Fantasy Football opponents roster. Just my luck. The previous high for a single player this year was 45 Pts. Last Night Moore got 49.

Lol my brother is the only person in my league who is 4-0 and he also had Moore. It was like 46 points for him. He’s very likely going to be 5-0 by Tuesday.

I put $20 on the DJ Moore prop of over 49.5 yards…since I had him going in Fantasy and figured it was worth rolling the dice on.

That took one drive to hit. I didn’t even get my beer finished.

Well the Cowboys-Niners in prime time on Sunday night turned out to be one sided. Obviously the Cowboys aren’t in the top tier of contenders after that abysmal effort.

Lions are still looking pretty good too. Restore the roar.

Cowboys crapped the bed like they usually do. Remind me of the Vikings in some ways jester

Part of the issue may have been the lack of qualify opponents. They beat up on the Giants, Jets, and Patriots. These are three of the worst offenses in the entire league. I think they are a good team, they just aren’t ready to be a real contender. They did go 12-5 the last two seasons and I would say they will finish near that this season too.

Not really watching but Russel Wilson has 37 yards passing and an INT in the first half against KC tonight. Sure seems like he is washed up. Pretty crazy Denver gives him a massive contract and then he totally sucks.

And after giving up what they did for Wilson, they gave up several picks, including a first rounder, FOR A COACH. I know I’m not alone in loving watching this epic failure of a tenure by Sean Payton. That arrogant POS is making it so the most recent memory NFL fans will have of him is a failed stint with the Broncos.

Didn’t watch any of it, but watched the highlights and looked at the stat lines. Apparently the Chiefs kept marching up the field but would either turn it over, turn it over on downs, or kick a FG when they got into the red zone. The score would have been a lot more lopsided had they been more efficient down there.

Denver is bad. The Sean Payton experiment is a bust.

Maybe it wasn’t all Hackett’s fault they sucked last year. whistling

Your certainly not alone. I still think Favre and a couple linemen should have taken a flight down to NO and kicked his ass after that BS game.

It’s pretty clear that Payton didn’t “take” the Saints to a Super Bowl Championship, rather the other way around.

Even if he wants to cut his losses and jump into the booth or as some sort of commentator, he’s now forever vulnerable to every jab about his “expertise”.

The only thing better than the lifetime ban Payton and Gregg Williams should have got, is watching Payton get absolutely destroyed weekly after what he said about Hackett last year.

What an arrogant thing to say and do. I have no strong opinions on Hackett and I really do think he was brought to Denver to try and get Aaron Rogers. But once they traded for a much-better-than-he-looks-now Russell Wilson I think Denver’s ownership and fanbase thought the sky was the limit and Hackett was the scapegoat. Sean Payton could’ve kept his mouth shut and just went in and went to work, but he ran his mouth and set himself up and deserves all of this.

I saw a picture of Brees and Brady shaking hands after a game and the caption was something asking if Bellicheck and Payton were elite super coaches or maybe it was because of these two (Brees/Brady). That’s a debate that could go multiple pages in a different thread but I think everyone is starting to think that.

Belicheck is surprising to me just due to the amount of success they had for such a prolonged period. Will be interesting to see how it ends there, but can’t imagine he wants to go out with the Mac Jones era. Payton never was a great coach, solid but not great. Take away the Bounty Gate Super Bowl and his resume looks pretty meh. Same for Brees honestly, take away the SB and he’s somewhere between Cousins and Marino, lots of stats but no rings. In fact Kirk’s one playoff win was against them I believe…

The Patriots are a disaster. I think they have a grand total of 3 points the past 2 weeks. The post game news conference with Belicheck was entertaining lol. He just kind of stands there with his hoodie and gives simple monotone responses. “Yes” or “No” or “We’ll see.”

There is speculation that he is on the hot seat too. Might just be rumors, but it might not be either. Winning is pretty tough without the GOAT at QB, isn’t it Bill?

I don’t think I could refer to Brees as “meh”

Brees was a victim of the “Aaron Rodgers Effect” where he covered up a lot of weak spots in a roster for years. The offense he led was high powered and able to overcome other issues. Brees deserves every accolade he has in my book. I’m glad he was able to get a ring.

I didn’t word that well, Payton is meh without a SB. Brees is 2nd all time in yards and TD’s, so that is FAR from meh. But without a SB at QB you are basically DQ’d from the greatest after Brady convo, and without a SB Brees would probably be most comparable to Marino or Tarkenton historically. Great stats, and changed how we look at the position. But his one SB they cheated to win, and were far from the greatest team that year. People don’t forget! (and I try and make sure they don’t rotflol jester jester

What you see with both coaches mentioned is that talent wins in the NFL. Belichick is a good coach but without a top group of players he is just that, only a good coach. I thought for most of his Super Bowls he had some really good players but they weren’t as good over-all as the opponents players. He made those players into a better TEAM I think. Peyton I don’t care about at all. If he never won another game I wouldn’t mind.

So I’m stuck in Miami with a 5 hour layover today…

Let’s just say the fans at the bar here are beyond obnoxious. They went from saying Tua has mashed potatoes for brains at the start of the game when things weren’t going well and that he’s hit his ceiling, to questioning if anyone can “catch” him in the MVP race. This turn of events happened in less than the time it’s taken me to get down my 2 drinks.

Miami is fun to watch, but there’s not many guys on the roster beyond Hill who have proven anything in the playoffs. I’d still be shocked to see them make it beyond the divisional round

The Browns are on the verge of beating the undefeated 49ers with backup PJ Walker at QB.

No more unbeaten teams. Both San Fran and Philly lose.

Meanwhile, the kitties keep winning. They are now 5-1 tied atop the NFC, with the only blemish on the season an OT loss to Seattle.

    Some interesting games today…

Lions took a serious beating!! And the Bears won big with a backup QB?!

The NFC North and Big 10 West couldn’t be more similar.

Hopefully the Eagles and Dolphins game is good. I rarely carve out time to sit and watch a whole game, but am doing it tonight

I tried watching the Lions/Ravens but it was so lopsided at the half that I went outside and did yard work instead.

This might be the worst the top of the NFL has ever been. No undefeated teams left well before the halfway point. The Chiefs have no WR’s and look extremely mortal other than Mahomes and Mr Pfizer. SF lost to a backup QB and marginal Browns team. Lions got destroyed by the Ravens. Eagles looked good yesterday, but pretty meh overall. Bills lost to the Patriots, while everyone was putting Belicheck into retirement and Mac Jones into a backup role. Cincy and Miami don’t do much for me unless they are playing the Broncos. A whole bunch of “just ok” imo, which is just what the NFL wants as it is going to be a crazy home stretch.

Miami was down 3 offensive linemen and Cheetah dropped a couple balls one TD for sure, that is highly unusual. Plus they were on the road I think if Tua stays healthy they are a force.

The Niners have lost 3 straight. The Seahawks now lead the NFC West.

The Broncos have beaten the Chiefs after losing 16 straight against them. They held KC without a TD and forced 5 turnovers.

And the once putrid Bengals have now won 3 in a row.
