New Yamaha Key

I recently bought a new (used rig) that came with a 2021 Yamaha 115 tiller. Previous owner only had or could only find one key. Has anyone had a spare made? Do I have to go directly through Yamaha?

There should be a number on the key. Just use that number as a search, you should be able to purchase very easily on the web, or as you mentioned directly from a dealer.

If it’s an aftermarket, then you’ll have to get a replacement made. A locksmith might be your best bet.

yup. all keys are numbered. order the same number from Yamaha or your nearest dealer. key number may be under the rubber boot if there is one

I just went thru my local Yamaha dealer for mine, not very expensive at all and had it in a couple days
